You will have to pay 100 bath per bycicle and wait for a shuttle to pick you up which there's no point and only make you waste your time.

There is a little scam when you go to the boarder control. Before you enter the border, there is a \official\ guy from the border contol who's giving you the possibility to change your Bath to Dollars (because the Visa is cheaper when you pay in Dollar). But exchange rate is very unfavorable and the bank at the corner has only dollar bills for 100. Don't exchange your money here. You can exchange you money at the Laos border! The building is quite nice.
