The hot springs vary in temperature which means you can choose what temperature suits you best. To be honest, they feel quite dirty when you’re sitting in the hot spring, though I haven’t gotten sick yet. Locals come to clean the springs once every few weeks which is assuring. When you visit, make sure to bathe in the stream first (which is cold), then go into the hot spring! Always has parking available.

This could be really well done but is a low end effort. The roads in Thailand are great everywhere except here. They have put all the pot holes from everywhere else here so getting to this place is not enjoyable. You can of course come for free
Nice place to enjoy a thermal bath, the small river next to the 'pods' allows to alternate hot and cold water.... A dozen meters from these are private hot-springs where one can have a bit more intimacy or privacy.
A nice bike ride from Chiang Dao. There are a few rough patches of road, but generally quite good. There are toilets, drinks and snacks available at the springs. Be prepared for the sulphur smell! No entry fee. Lots of nice shady places to sit and relax.
We ended up here on accident, just saw a sign and turned off. We didnt pay anything. The troughs are about 42 degrees, locals go here aloft, it's a cool place. Take insect repellent.
OK for a short stop off on journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. Can bathe feet in hot springs or pay to boil some eggs in boiling springs, lots of stalls & deserted/ run down temple.
The bath looks like natural spring, open air , and is easy to get to.The local people are friendly and service minded. We do not pay much for food .If the road was better I would recommend this place for this winter.
Nice place for relaxing and recovering energy.
