A really nice place to stay, real thai style cottages with patio. The room is basic, yet comfortable and very clean. Be prepared to wake up in the morning for the sunrise mountain tours leave early. Has a restaurant to have diner, breakfast. Paid 700B incl breakfast, very friendly and accommodating owners. Also has camping tents. Recommended!

This is a nice place to visit. I enjoyed looking at the gardens and seeing the work that has gone into educating local people on growing alternative crops instead of the opium poppy.
This is a Royal Development Center which includes a small but nice botanical garden. It offers great views of the mountains of Nan. Free entry.

In my opinion this place doesn't worth neither a visit. Untidy. Lazy workers around playing their smartphones and not friendly at all. The palace is closed. The garden is tidy, but just a little area; all around it no beauty at all. The canteen has a common food, easy to forget. I met the chef, a woman in angry mode that day. Well, my review can't be positive. It's a pretty remote place, you have to drive a bit to get it, that's why I'd suggest you to think about it before you go.
