Incredible amount of exhibits. Fascinating colors and design. After such a dose of Thai history, every normal person must rest I didn't plan to visit this place, but tired of the heat I entered and stayed for over 2 hours. The admission ticket is about 200 baths. You won't regret spending that money.

Don’t skip one building. You need to take time and explore all of it. It has more than it looks.

The best museum in Thailand without a doubt, and all contained within a collection of beautiful traditional 18th Century Thai buildings, once used as the Palace of the Deputy Kings. You can spend a few hours here going through the different galleries. The Chapel is really lovely and the main audience hall with it's exhibition of Thai history and Art is superb. There truly isn't enough I could write here, about this museum, to do justice to it. One of the many galleries has the most beautiful collection of Mother of Pearl inlaid artifacts. A must visit if you're coming to Bangkok.
