I went to Mizu's kitchen the first time about 20 years ago. Basically the place still looks the same. It looked run down then and it looks even more run down today which gives this place this unique atmosphere of decay. Different today was that the upper floor was closed which means it has a lot less business then it used to have. What bugged me the most was that I had to wait for my dinner for about an hour and I was really hungry. Maybe because of being really hungry I felt the portion is smaller than before. Last not least the price is higher and not as cheap as I remember. But still the quality of the food was good and the service is friendly. Last not least: Mizu's kitchen is one of the icons on Patpong. I hope that my feeling is wrong and this place will stay in business. Years ago I would have given 5 Stars just because of the value for money you are and it's unique atmosphere. As you can see I was disappointed mostly because of the slow service and the further decay of the shop.

I went to this restaurant with my friends since i was an undergraduate. The place was so classic. This place opened for more than 50 years I guessed.
