Hungry Hunter

This place has seen better days, if indeed it’s seen any good days at all. The inside of the restaurant is a tacky and neglected American style restaurant that has random holes in the wall and it seems the original idea of the restaurant was left behind when it opened. Flys greeted us upon entry and stayed with us through our time here. The burger itself was under seasoned and over cooked, but the meat tasted reasonable, the chips were good, crunchy and well seasoned. We felt that most of their business seemed to be from the delivery drivers that came in and out during our meal, not from sit in diners. In short, Burger King or McDonald’s would have done the same job and probably of been cleaner and more inviting.

Nice selection. Tasty food and burger as well as buffalo wings with blue cheese which is impossible to find in Thailand. Restaurant looks like old style American diner restaurant. But, inside smells raw meat like a butcher.

A random spot we found, has a very American diner feel. The food is decent and large quantities. The owner is Canadian, we met him on the way out, very nice guy. Great little lunch spot with some American diner type dishes on the menu.

Ordered two hotdogs last Saturday, and both of them contained bone fragments the size of Phuket. Then, when I wanted to pay, the girl couldn’t find the bill, refused to simply calculate what was owed and scrambled the entire kitchen staff to somehow extract the exact sum. This. Took. Ages. I asked repeatedly if I could just pay and leave and the girl wouldn’t budge. Having the owner say “hi” ceremoniously doesn’t compensate for lousy service and tainted food.

this restaurant is not bad, but the prices are rather high compare to the american franchise restaurant. perhaps owner must reconsider new pricing strategy.
