A well known public university and probably the biggest one in Bangkok. As all Universities, there is a wide selection of courses to choose from. However, it does appear to focus on law and politics. Seemingly the students will create a better Thai society after graduation - but only after the old guard are no longer. Student facilities don't seem to be huge, but then again I could have missed that. A good choice for gaining a further education.

I would highly recommend Amarin Mansion if attending Thammasat University. Its very close to the University, a good price, and has a great friendly staff. I learned most of the words I knew in Thai from the store owner at the apartment. The staff at this apartment acts as your family and really introduce you to local culture.
