Watch out if you are travelling to Trat and to the islands. Our minivan stopped 20km earlier and several cab drivers asked us if we want to go to the pier for the ferry (the cab costs 140baht). Our minivan driver seemed to work together with them...

It is so easy to connect to other buses that can take u to other city. Mine is from Chathaburi to Bangkok(Ekkamai) costs around 196 Bahts. Lastest bus leaves at 5:30pm
Very mellow bus stop. Awesome people
Provincial bus terminal in Chanthaburi is very simple and typical to other bus terminals in Thailand. Not many luxuries here, few food stalls, seven eleven near by and local rides either by motorcycles or saengthaws (old pick ups with covered beds and benches), typical short fare to city is 100 baht. Public toilets are separate next to the station ticket counters and are free, these toilets are not the cleanest and you better have your own toilet tissues. There are large slower busses that fares are cheaper (180 baht trip to Bangkok) and faster mini busses that are more expensive (250 baht trip to Bangkok). Old large busses travel every hour to Bangor and have restrooms and more space. Schedule is sometimes erratic but most of the time is good.
Simple bus terminal. Buses are going on every corner of the Thai and cheap. You can buy some food for a way. Toilet are also there.
