We were wanting an ethical elephant experience and this wasn't it. The elephant was cute but the facilities were not. It was a gross pool in someone's back yard. The pool was green and filthy. The elephant was made to perform tricks on demand. Not what we were hoping for

I will give it 4 stars as they are my across the road neighbours. I have never been to any of their shows but do enjoy ( at various times during the night and day) the trumpeting of the baby elephant.

They keep a baby elephant tied up outside to attract people to the place. The elephant stands there daily with its foot shackled tightly to the post so that it can't move anywhere. It's absolutely horrendous seeing how this animal is confined, and its conditions have already been reported to animal rescues at least twice. Unfortunately, Thai law does not consider elephants as wildlife deserving of protection - they're classified as livestock instead. The only thing that can be done is to AVOID this place!! By attending, you are funding the continued confinement of this elephant.
