Good for kids
Remote and tranquil. Could be a perfect paradise, it has what you need: Own coral reef just 50 meters from the tents you stay in - yes, tents are the only option for accommodation. The snorkeling is very nice. 1 minute walk down the beach there is great climbing tracks. It is in a national park, and could be perfect. But the staff.. It should be people passionate about nature, wildlife and hospitality. Instead, they are there to do a job. Not that they are rude or anything... I was just hoping that they would have this "I love the place, please help me take care of it".. They don't!!! You can find trash not being put away, perhaps bottles left by guests. They could create a sentiment of everybody cleans up after themselves, and then take one extra piece (since, on occasion garbage floats in from the sea). Make it part of the experience, that we all care for the place – and the environment in general. Food is buffet – nothing special and if you don’t care for spicy food the selection is very limited. Breakfast was quite good. The only way to get there is with longtail boat, or the speedboat ferry. Pricing is fair – I would gladly pay 20% more, if they upscaled the experience. Not “more luxurious”, just more of a complete experience. There’s plenty staff, just not the right persons. But still, a unique and rarely found experience!

Beautiful place, the beach is amasing.
Very small and isolated. Basic accomodation from national park. Beautiful sea. Good if looking for a place to stay away from everyone

The beach!! Bijna perfect strand (er ligt onoverkomelijk tegenwoordig wat aangespoelde zooi). Het is een klein strandje maar als je van rust en natuur houd zit je er goed! Vandaag was er geen enkele andere toerist - heerlijk relaxen, klimmen of snorkelen. Het koraal is deels nog in takt en er zijn veel vissen (en kleine kwallen) te bewonderen. Let op: het nationale park kost 200 baht per persoon.
