You should go there to pay traffic fines or parking fines. Take a ticket first. Almost no queue. Fine price is usually 200 thb but for foreigners it's usually 500 thb. After paying the fine you can have your driving licence back to the second desk. Free water.

The office is not operational anymore. The building is demolished. If you have to pay a fine you have to go to the police station near wat Phra singh ( where there is touristic police )

Il existe une police de la circulation ! A ce propos, la vigilence doit être de mise. Les voitures ne s'arrêtent que si vous êtes au mieu de la route. Chiang Mai dispose de beaucoup de rues en sens unique, ce qui facilite grandement les choses pour traverser par exemple, ou si l'on loue vélo ou scooter
