This is a site which is partially reinforced against deterioration and not restored. It appears to have been a larger site than the prasat 1 on the same volcanic hilltop. The distribution of the stones is wide, with some labeled wirh white markings in order to possible support reconstruction. There is a trail from the nearby Wat which is marked with plastic flags, however the intersection of the trail leading to this site 2, is non distinct. There is no signage. There was nobody there but me and my hiking partner. It is well worth visiting both sites however I suggest taking wanter and snacks, the expedition may take a few hours. The site 1 is partially restored to grandeur.

ถ้าซ่อมแซมเสร็จ คงสวยมาก
ทางขึ้นลำบากหน่อยๆ รถเก๋งก็น่าจะพอมาได้ถึงวัดที่ตีนเขา จากนั้นก็พิจารณาเอาเองว่าจะขึ้นไปไหม เป็นปราสาทหลังเดี่ยวก่อด้วยอิฐยอดและผนังด้านหน้าพังลงมาหมดแล้ว ล้อมด้วยกำแพงแก้วที่ทำจากหินภูเขาไฟบางส่วน ซึ่งแทบไม่มีปราสาทไหนในไทยใช้หินภูเขาไฟ สำหรับคนไม่ได้รักประวัติศาสตร์หรือรักความวิบากหน่อยๆ ที่นี่ผ่านไปก็ได้ แต่ใครสนใจประวัติศาสตร์ที่นี่น่าสนใจมากด้วยเป็นจุดที่ค้นพบประติมากรรมสำริดกว่า 300 องค์ฮะ
