Ob Khan is a unique national park, about half an hour drive from Chiang Mai city. They have some great views particularly the Gorge with water thundering through it. This place is a not so popular (some locals don’t know it) and rather small National Park, however it's worthwhile to visit. This park has a good area for camping and picnicking. There is an easy hiking trail along the Khan river coming from the mountains with water throughout the year and canyon. Some areas are very good for swimming. There is also a small coffee shop near park office. You can visit there before going to the trail. The restroom and bathroom are good. Good time to spend about half a day to comfortably view all the places. Good to explore the masterpiece arts by nature. Beautiful landscape and you can stay alone for a while with nature, you can see the stunning images of nature and enjoy the views through the viewpoints. This one is a peaceful place to visit. You can get a nice view when you climb up to the viewpoint. The Park is closed during the rainy season July – October and the trial is opened 8AM-5PM. (Free admission)
