The Kawila Camp is not really open for tourists to visit but just outside the main gate there is a small park on the river side that is a great place to take a break on a bicycle ride down the Chiang Mai - Lamphun Road. On holidays like Loy Kratong there are even celebrations in this park that are also open to the public. Great view of boats going down the river and there is also a coffee shop where you can get iced drinks and cakes.
