We went on our vacation to Bangkok and booked this hotel by seeing its review and ratings. However, when we have visited the place, it went on toss. Rooms were very smelly and in old condition. No cleaning had been performed in 3 days. We have booked breakfast also but no breakfast given saying that eatables are not available. Hotel staff were not even informed us that breakfast is available/at what time it will be available. When i have asked then only they offered us 2 breads, fruits and juices. No locker facility inside the room which is the biggest lack as you have to carry money and passports. Lastly, some people knock your door and disturb you unnecessary. Very bad experience not recommended at all.

DONT BE FOOLED WITH PHOTOS ONLINE. We just arrived at this place last night around 10 pm. Booking says that 24 hour check-in. However when we arrived there we were told that sorry your room is no longer available. Asking reason why: we were told that because we were Late they have given the room to somebody else. REALLY ?? We paid for it , booking says 24/7 Check in do how could you give our room to someone else ?? Eventually we were offered an another room which I will add the photos below. This room had those rat kill tablets lying around the bathroom and kitchen everywhere. Room was full of dust and looks like it was close for weeks. I went back to the reception and showed them the photos and told this is not acceptable. So she finally offered me the room we booked originally. (NOW How is this become available now) We got the room (so called presidential suite ) and looks like we arrived at slum . Most of the things were broken or missing. Furniture, sofa and bed sheets had stains all over them. Staff wouldnt do anything to help. I had to call agoda and cancel the booking. (NOTE: THIS IS A OLD RUN DOWN HOTEL, DONT GO ON THE PHOTOS ONLINE).

I stayed at the Palms@Sukhumvit recently and I loved it. Was pretty skeptical when I first saw it but upon checking into the room, it was cozy. What makes your stay memorable, are always the friendly staff. In particular, the hotel General Manager, Mr Niran Boontongnum. I will definitely make a return to Palms@Sukhumvit.

The Twin Palm @ 39 Hotel is a small boutique property tucked away deep down in one of the streets off Bangkok's Sukhumvit Road. The rooms are budget priced, even by Bangkok standards, starting at around 25 per nite for a standard room. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds comfortable. There is a small kitchenette area, with a sink, stove-top, refrigerator, washing machine, and microwave. The bathrooms have a separate tub and shower. There is a small in-house restaurant but I wouldn't recommend it. There is a lovely French creperie just a few meters up the street that serves all manner of crepes and other western fare. There is also a Starbucks around the corner and a 7-11 convenience store just steps from the hotel entrance. There is a branch of the Let's Relax Thai massage studio around the corner as well. A Fuji supermarket is in the basement of the Citi Resort complex around the corner, where the Starbucks is located. There are also dozens of cafes and restaurants dotting the immediate vicinity. The Twin Palms is a bargain priced hotel located in a somewhat obscure but prime area of Bangkok. It's a short 15 minute walk up to the main Sukhumvit Road, where there is a Skytrain station and the high end Emporium shopping mall (shops, department store, restaurants, grocery store, movie theatre). It is easy to hail a cab as soi 39 is a pass-through between the major Petchaburi and Sukhumvit roads. The hotel also has a free tuk-tuk to take guests to and from the Sukhumvit Road.
