Daniel Thaiger Burger looked like such a tiny shop when I passed it by on the street but they had a huge selection of beers not just on tap, but bottled as well. I had the chance to try a rare Trappist beer called La Trappe and it was some solid fresh stuff. As for the food, the fantastic onion rings are surely a great accompaniment to the beer you’re inevitably going to have here. I also tried their Mr. Steve burger, which is like their signature Thaiger burger, with the addition of cheese and bacon. It was a great looking burger, but the moment I bit into it I was disappointed. The brioche bun was flat, and the burger patty well-done. Perhaps I should have specified to the server I wanted my burger medium-rare, but she hadn’t made it a point to ask me either. I wouldn’t say the burger was completely inedible, but I definitely expected more from a burger joint. If this was just a craft beer joint serving bites, I would have given this place 5-stars.

burger was not bad but i asked for “medium” and what i got was “well done”. somehow fries arrived at our table without us ordering them and then showed up on the bill (there were three of us and they gave us three orders of fries). they were good but kind of weird how they just mysteriously showed up. 1000 bhat for two people (two burgers, two fries, no drink) seems a bit overpriced.

To me this is the best burger I've had in bangkok and I've had plenty. I always eat from their food truck. It's exactly what you want in a burger. Their mac and cheese burger is outstanding as with their other special burger but usually only available on special occasions

Daniel Thaiger burger hyped me up properly only to let me down when I ultimately bite into that sumptuous looking lil sandwich. How can anyone, anyone deny that burger on a brioche bun. If only pictures were aligned to my expectations, the brioche bun would be soaked just to perfection with its thaiger sauce, meat juice and cheese yet still retaining that bite without going soggy and the beef patty would be cooked medium rare with its juices all retained and raring to go. Yet, all I had was a soggy sandwich which couldn’t seem to contain all the goodness stacked up and an extremely dry beef patty. I’m giving it a 3 stars because the onion rings saved the day and their selection of beer was pretty impressive. Great looking menu, great joint, yet the food could just slightly slightly be better.

I was asked to go into more detail about my rating... To begin with local beers are overpriced.. secondly although my party arrived first our food was served at the same time as a party that arrived approximately 15 minutes after. subsequently our burgers were not as hot as they should have been and are french fries were barely warm...there is no doubt that because of the limited staff what happened was everything was made at one time. And when the second order came in the first order which was ours,t had wait on a warmer. no doubt the one cook was trying to make everything at one time for her convenience and not the guest. That being said the quality of the burger was very good.. for such a small venue I would hesitate to go back unless I was assured the food was going to be served promptly when made.
