Wat Chang Rob means 'The temple surrounded be elephants' (wat temple, chang elephant, rob around) and it is an accurate name. Most of the elephants have lost their trunks, but it doesn't need much imagination to work out what they would have looked like.

First met of big temple in the Kamphaengphet historical park. Now , chedi's part are gone. The elephants around the temple is still remain. Some lost their trunks. The step to chedi is so steep.be careful.Visit and notice the link between Sri satchanalai historic park, Wat Chang Lom which you will enjoy the story and culture of the old siam.Have a drinking kiosk in the opposit for get refresh in hot day.Allow the vihicle and have a fee to enter this park. That's better way for long distance and wide area of the park and the distance from temple to temple.Must visit.

Worth a look. Can probably see most of the ruins in a hour or so, if you have a motorbike
