Hat Yai Cable Car in Thailand is a recent addition to the Hat Yai Municipal Park and has its base station located at the picturesque look-out point of the rather amazing Phra Buddha Mongkol Maharaj (Standing Buddha). Its opened on the 5th December 2011. The cable car hatyai ride lasts for around 10 minutes and offers breath-taking view of the city. First Cable Car in Thailand Price 100 baht for Thai and 200 baht for foreigner. Cable car will not run in bad weather. They only have 2 cable cars so try to avoid public holidays.
