History is awesome! 1000 year old temple. Just imagine all the people who walked here and made their impact in its history.

Not so far from Roi Et city but certain route to the place could be doubtful whether it will lead to the right place. Well maintained and clean but could be more attendant to take better care of everything in the temple.

This place was built around 12-13 AD, that's ancient in my book. Serve as hospital and whats remain, this is a place to soak in the feeling of going back in time. Temples were built around this ancient hospital with toilet and parking. An stop by. The scale is smaller compared to what you find in Ang Kor Wat or Cambodia in general.

This was my running destination last weekend. It was a bit difficult to find, much harder if you don’t read thai. But worth the hunt! It’s definitely not as elaborate as some of Thailand’s other ancient Khmer temples, but it’s right here in Roi Et! There is a more modern temple in the temple complex as well. Also an OTOP store that sells local products. This temple is 1,000 years old. Such an incredibly old piece of history. Definitely good early in the morning. Not a lot of shade, so it would be a scorcher.
