Lovely new Indian restaurant in Laguna area. Friendly service, nice outdoor seating and decent menu. We enjoyed the garlic naan, butter chicken, bhindi curry - all were good. Look forward to kids area being opened up. Will return when fancy a curry for sure!

TURMERIC Authentic Indian Cuisine in Amphoe Thalang, Phuket, Thailand. 3% charge levied on all payments by card. Parking available and the restaurant is clean and open. Service was slow and quite confusing as the waitress sent to the table couldn’t understand English and had to keep referring back for help. This seems to be a training issue clearly, not her fault. Be aware they do not serve aware complimentary water with the meal, but you can buy bottled water. Small choice on the menu only 3 Indian main courses and 3 Indian vegan dishes. They do not include rice with the main dishes, Chicken Tikka Massala and Butter Chicken, but 120 you can add rice. The taste of the Mango Lassi was below average. Order naan bread, they will serve you half a naan and the chicken biryani was disappointing. The rice was warm, not hot, and the chicken was barely warm. Why was this? Then when you came to pay also be aware, the 3% charge is levied on all credit/debit card transactions. I’ve never come across this anywhere before in Phuket. This is Thailand and it goes without saying the staff were very warm and welcoming. There are several other restaurants in this locale.
We had a largish, properly distanced group dinner here this week. It was excellent. The staff were lovely and the food very good. I didn't take any photos but you can see some on our Rotary Club of Patong Beach page.
Excellent, authentic Indian food, fresh ingredients and imported spices. Lovely and relaxing decor. Highly recommend.
This was by far the most wonderful Indian food i have ever tried. The restaurant looks absolutely amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I will be going again for sure! I highly recommend.

Great new addition to the Laguna area, chicken tikka was awesome, very succulent. They’re still using their opening menu so a little limited but expect a lot more good things very soon, I’ll be back for sure. I’ve heard the full menu will be ready v.soon.
I ordered takeaway chicken biryani and tandoori Salmon. The salmon was pretty poor. Dry, overcooked and slightly burned. The biryani was tasty but had very little chicken in it and the chicken was chewy and of poor quality. To be honest, it seemed like all the food was reheated leftovers. The naan bread was greasy. I hope this restaurant can be successful, but they will need to improve their quality control and lift their game. It is a new restaurant so maybe these are teething problems.
