One of the best experiences of my life! We made food for the elephants, fed them had photos, helped 'mud ' them and scrub their backs! Don't forget your bathers and some extra water worthy shoes, a towel and dry clothes cos it gets messy and WET! During my visit their was a baby elephant - which we watched mum with but quite rightly gave them their space - and it was adorable watching him try to learn how to negotiate the mud and throw it on himself. The videos I took still make me smile and laugh; beyond cute! Food and transport were included plus you are helping to support the amazing volunteer and working staff rehabilitate and rescue elephants from 'performing' for tourists and live out their lives cared for.

An awesome experience, a wonderful reception from Si the tour guide, her food demo was a super ice breaker to a fun filled day. The elephant keepers were all friendly. The stars of the day were definitely the baby elephants, they are truly a great gain to the program. Wonderful initiative in saving elephants from human abuse. Premises was neat and tidy and will definitely recommend it to anyone!

So many nice memories here. The pick up was very timely and easy! The leader, Sigh, was a delight and very knowledgeable. First, we did like a meet and greet with each of the 8 elephants. We got to feed them grass and cut sugar cane down to feed them too. Then we watched a big one mud bathe get rinsed off. Then the babies mud bathed and we joined them. The mud was a very strange experience, disgusting but enjoyable in a weird way. If you want to take your phone in you need a lanyard case. Then you rinse off and go into the clean water where you help rinse off the babies. After there are private showers and it is a clean facility. Then we got a special presentation from Sign on how to make pad thai. The lunch that was served was delicious. I would highly recommend this sanctuary.

Highlight of the holiday, beautiful place a real spa hotel for elephants! Excellent tour guide who was open and honest, saw all the aspects of caring for these beautiful creatures from where they sleep to feeding them and going into the mud pool to scrub them, no chains or riding them just good care, no donations wanted or expected and just encouraged to spread the word they are there! Excellent facilities for you to shower off after your spa with the elephants and food served aswell, a real must visit experience
