This is a distance learning open university set up by HM Rama IX so working people could study and work at the same time. It has nice grounds and many lecture halls and offices as well. There are gardens and a small lake too. Graduations are now in April so traffic can be bad at that time. Students from here have a good reputation as they have to motivate themselves and show determination to graduate with distance learning.

Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University is popular open university and quite famous in Thailand. There is a small public park with small pond. Many people come here to exercise, jogging or walking in the monad evening. There is a fitness, badminton court and swimming pool also. Good to exercise.
