Great experience to enjoy cruising along the chao Phraya river with River star Cruise, onboard buffet dinner was great, enjoy 2 hours of fantastic view from the cruise Staff is friendly and attentive to your needs , if you want some beer or liquor, will need to pay for it Overall a great experience Highly recommended

We were on the 'Chao Phraya Princess 5' and we liked it. The staff was kind and always helpful, the atmosphere was nice, and the food selection was was wide. We booked through a travel agency just one day ahead and paid 1100 THB per person. It was worth it. The 'Chao Phraya Princess 5' has two decks and we had a table at the upper deck. They filled the upper deck completely with guests (in my eyes it is the nicer and more scenic deck as long as it is not raining because it is a half open deck while the lower deck is window protected) and there were some more people on the lower deck but by far not as many as on the upper deck, yet they had the same wide buffet range there, too. All food, water, coffee, tea and a welcoming fruit beverage were free. Other drinks including alcoholic drinks would have to be paid additionally. A cocktail costs about 190 THB.
I went for Dinner cruise with them in 2013 and had an awesome experience. I am planning to go again with them in July 2020. They had good Halal options at that time and I am hoping they still have Halal options in their meal.
One of the most romantic and pleasant evenings I've ever had. Truly enjoyed it. If you book it with a hotel pick up just know they don't hang about for you. Pick up arranged at 1800. We arrived at 1801hrs and they had left. Cruise itself was magnificent but the meal took a bit away from this.
The peir gets very crowded, but there is really no need to worry. It is well organised and more then enough food everyone. While sax player was great, basically the entertainment is mediocre. The food was good. Great value overall.
Booked this cruise via Klook but there is no cruise when we arrive at the Yodpiman River Walk Pier, we called to check and were told we have to check in at Asiatique Pier whereby my voucher stated Yodpiman Pier. Terrible experience on this! If u unfortunely book this cruise, pls call them and double check the exact check in location to avoid disappointment. I don't recommend this cruise at all due to this administration error.
