Standing out amid glittering Buddhist temples, the simple clean spire and muted cream colors of the Holy Rosary Church are a reminder of the trade between Portugal and Siam in the 18th century. The church was built in 1786, four years after Bangkok was founded. Turn left at the exit from the pier, walk past River City, and head into Soi Wanit 2 for about 80 meters. The church is on your left. Open only on working days and closed at week-ends.

One of the most Beautiful church in Bangkok. Located on Yotha road.
The Sunday mass I attended was at 7:30 pm, which was in Thai language. There was a rosary prayer before that which started at 7:00 pm. The ambiance is very solemn inside the church and the location is on the Chaopraya riverbank just across the Icon Siam shopping mall.
Beautiful and historic church. The location on Google is quite confusing so we had a hard time reaching it by car. You can not reach here from The River City side. It tucked away in narrow street (soi) that seems like leading to nowhere. And the historic church itself is inside the gate of a school so it’s hard to find by car. My friend has better luck using boat with a pier not far away. Parking limited in the school premises.
very beautiful church next to the river. i came here in the evening at 3-4pm. there is no light on inside the church. the window glass is more visible to catch the shot. very beautiful scene. i love the story on the window and wall and the statue of the Angel and Jesus.
