There's one restaurant on the corner, another one and then this THIRD one wall to wall to the second (they are actually decent, the other 2, but this one is a gem) You will eat fresh and silly cheap food with high quality. I have a few restaurants in Bangkok that I really can recommend and this is the highest on my list. Don't come on lunch rush, because students, staff that work around the area go here, so it's really busy, but it means the rotation of the food is so high, so even seafood I eat here. A good portion is about 40-50 Bath depending on what you choose, but it really is a amazing. Treat them nicely and with respect and you see the Thai people and eat Thai food at it's best. Even the so worn out Phad Thai noodles is great here. I usually just order fried rice with pork and season it up as spicy as I want it. They do hot and spicy food as well, just ask. They have one laminated English menu, because the only foreigners that come to eat there is brought by me. You get a healthy cabbage or other soup as well for free. Directions CENTURY (skytrain station Victory monument and the first ally behind it) They close at 19:00 and is closed on Sundays.
The food is good, the portions are big, the price is great. The soup (delicious pickle romaine) free when you order a meal.
