If you want to learn kiteboarding in a super relaxed place this is the place. Not many kiters, so its safe to learn, beautiful location, great vibe. Perfect gor people who like to relax after kiting, quiet place, not many tourists, no noise, no traffic jam. I love this place

We were very happy with our kite school and especially with our instructor Stoka. Pranburi is a wonderful laid back pretty town on the sea side, which doesn't see allot of tourists apart from kite surfers. There is allot of place in the water to learn and Stoka will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. We learned allot from him since he explaines very good and gives you an honest feedback. He focuses on really teaching you what you need. Great equipment too. All in all I can highly recommend this school.
I highly recommend KBA Pranburi. I took a beginners course end of Oct beg of Nov here and learned a lot from my instructor Stoka. He is not only very good in what he does, he is brilliant in pointing out exactly what you have to improve to learn kitesurfing even quicker. The school is located at the beach near a restaurant. So if you are travelling with your family/ friends, they can enjoy a coconut or some local food at this place while watching you kitesurf. The wind was steady during our stay. There are some waves at the shore but once you pass them, the conditions are really good for beginners as well. If you are an experienced kitesurfer, you will for sure enjoy riding these waves. I heard from the kitesurfing community here that March and April offer you paradise conditions in Pranburi: blue - turquoise, waist deep water, a lot of space to practice with no waves, no fishing boats or nets. So if you travel during these months, book in advance. All in one, great school and equipment for renting/ buying, chill location out of touristy craziness, optimal learning curve and Stoka is the best!
