Easy and friendly land border crossing. Everything is well organized and smooth including crossing the no-man’s-land to Myanmar

Small border post with travel agencies and food establishments lining the road going through the checkpoint. My comments are targeted towards those wishing to obtain a new 30 day visa exemption. The procedure’s rather confusing and haphazard in that there’s no real English language signage, and the two places where you’ll need to do the preliminaries are located in opposite places. But the people here are helpful, ameliorating the slightly chaotic organisation of the immigration booths.
You can visit to Dawei through this gate. But need visa approved from Thai/ Myanmar Embassy.
It’s a bit off the map but it’s very busy here on the border.
