Ditapong is an excellent manager and he has friendly staff. Best option for long term hard standing on the west coast of Thailand. Cheaper than krabi boat lagoon. Great stainless steel welders onsite and many other tradesmen available. I felt very secure there and the toilets and showers are very clean and plenty of them. A lot cooler than the other hard stands and not many mosquitoes, it is at the top of the island and sort of out the way and a work in progress. The haul out and props were all done very efficiently and professionally. Pluses are *cheaper *a lot cooler *good onsite welders *close to the air port *secure *personal service from the manager, speaks perfect English, educated at Perth university. *motorbike hire I have left my yacht there now for two 6 months periods and no complaints. Very helpful boat yard, I can only recommend the place and certainly be back there when required.
Very shallow water even at high tide. No amenities nearby.
