Nice to be able to ride your bike through local streets to see how people live. Nice to ride and not just walk between sites. Really important to bring bottled water with you. They only give you one bottle.
Had a lovely day cycling around Ayutthaya. Our guide Vik, was perfect, a really nice guy with a lot of information about every place we stopped. He also didn't try to rush us, we could look around the places we stopped at our own pace and this really made the difference. We had a wonderful time and would recommend you to give this place a try if you're planning on visiting Ayutthaya. Book in advance.
If you are willing to see a lot of what Ayutthaya has to offer, this is definitely one of the best way. The tour will take you in places that are not so easy to find for a foreigner, and gives you the chance to see the eal\ side of the city. For example, one of the checkpoint is an elementary school : there you can chat with the childrens and their professors and confront yourself with a totally different (at least for me and my wife) reality. The tour itself is well balanced, doesn't require specific preparation and they will give you everything you need to start this journey. An honor mention goes to Sao, our guide, which was very prepared, nice and leaded us to discover these beautiful places in a very passionate way.
