Definitely come for a visit. The museum will give you a brief introduction, not only of Ayudhaya as an important port and capital in the past but also an excellent overview of Thai cultures. One can see the place had a good start, but today, evidence of neglect is over whelming. Pity. Come anyway. It's a perfect starting point if it was your first trip to Ayudhaya.

This center isvery well designed, built and maintained. Easy accessible, understandable and absorbable. There has never been anything 100% good or bad, right or wrong; and so does history. We should have our minds widened studying what history can teach us.

Wonderful museum, very informative about Ayutthaya but unfortunately went on holiday the theatre was closed.
