Found this place after we went to Old Siam Plaza. It is an old school chinese style restaurant. The owner and other staff were very friendly and the lady told me the owner and chef is from Guangdong, so they know Cantonese. The duck soup noodles was very delicious and we also ordered fried rice with cha sieuw, also very good. They will serve you a complementary ice tea if you want. Recommended!

Food Nomad

Came here based on online recommendation and was not disappointed. 60 year-old famous joint that serves tasty braised duck noodle (their most recommended, iconic dish), among other staple, quick made-to-order Thai street food such as fried rice, hor fun and kao pad krapao (spicy basil stir fried meat with rice). We came here feeling a lil wary but left happy. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The shop has a very old-town feel to it. We ordered braised duck noodle soup and one dry wanton noodle with chashu. Both are very pleasant. Tip: for the braised duck noodle, order the soup version instead of the dry one, it tastes better (because of the broth that comes with it). The dry version tasted pretty mild (too mild for our taste). Price is very affordable (around 45-60 baht per bowl) Overall we enjoyed the food here and wouldn't mind coming back again for sure.
