I booked a cooking class here over Airbnb while I was staying in Bangkok. First we decided as a group what we wanted to cook then Andy took us to the market to go get everything we need and gave us a little insight non what exactly we were buying. Then we went back and started cooking. Andy was very precise and explained everything very well and made sure everyone was following along. We enjoyed what we cooked together as a group and then shared some stories. Overall a very pleasant and friendly environment. I would recommend this to anyone who is a beginner or experienced cook. If I return to Bangkok I will definitely come back here. thanks for a lovely day! :)

We spent an afternoon/evening with Andy, first choosing three Thai classics from a selection of about 8-10 dishes, then buying ingredients at a nearby market and finally cooking and eating them. I've always been a fan of Thai cuisine and never got it to taste \original\, probably because I didn't use those \special ingredients\ the Thais use (Thai basil instead of the western basil, fish sauce, tamarind sauce, Thai vegetables...). All eight participants each had their own induction plate, preparing the ingredients for all three dishes according to Andy's instructions, then cooking one dish after the other. Thanks to Andy's traditional clay pots, they stayed warm until all three are finished, then we ate our self-made Thai food. And it tasted wonderful! Just like I know it from the restaurant. While we didn't make the curry paste ourself (bought from a stand at the market as many Thais do – it's fresh and high quality), I learned everything else I needed to make wonderful Thai food. Andy is a great teacher and answered many questions, even the difficult ones. Apart from the main act of cooking and eating, Andy's class is a wonderful entertainment. Even if you're not that into cooking, it's a fun thing to do in Bangkok! 5* and a definite recommendation!

Bad business ethics. As a long time traveller, I will state that this is one of those operators who will not hesitate to rip off a traveller given the chance. They ask you to arrive 15 minutes beforehand, and because I only arrived 2 minutes beforehand they just kept my money - no class and no refund. The thing is I tried to call (3 times), and messaged them prior, saying I was on my way but google maps says I won't be 15 minutes early. No response. When I arrived, the lights were off inside. I knocked on the doors. Waited. Went to the nearby (tiny) market to look for them and saw no tour group whatsoever. So I don't think the class happened at all. But they kept my money and refused to refund; no offer for another class...nothing. Cost recovery was attempted multiple times, but this operator just kept finding a way to avoid accountability. He found a way to get my last post removed so I'll just create an account and post again. This is no way to handle guests to your country, and people should know!

Amazing cooking class. Probably the best food we have had in Asia! Owner is super nice, and funny. We had a great time learning how to look authentic Thai cuisine and the tips and tricks for shopping in the local market. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience! Seeing the market and picking out ingredients is very cool. The food was fantastic and there was tons. Andy is very social and great to chat with about Thai culture as well as his own interesting life. Really enjoyed the class, would definitely recommend.
