I really don't understand where the great reviews are coming from. Maybe something changed recently? We tried few dishes - disappointing. Traditional South African sausage was almost inedible. Really poor taste, presentation and overall experience for the price. Update: The owner contacted me and offered to try food one more time on the house. I did not do it yet (maybe in a future) but give extra stars as an advance for the attentive customer service.

Great experience for real South African food with the delicious sausages, tasty sauce! Especially, the juicy beef burger!! Authentic food to try! Near Bangchak BTS station and parking lot is available.
Had a yummy lunch with friends! I had the burger and fries and it was the best I've had in Bangkok! Fresh beef and topped with very tasty beef jerky shavings, served on a Kaiser style roll. Also tried the custard style cheesecake dessert...Mmmmm!

I tried South African food for the first time last night and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well present. I would recommend Madibaz burger and Bobotie and rice! You will never forget the taste! YUMMY! So , overall a good meal, great value and i will definitely come back!
Portions small. Food is cold. One things as South Africans we like is our food hot. When you buy mash and gravy and the gravy came out of the refrigerator, then you loose me. The malva pudding, which is always a hot dessert was cold as well. Boerewors better to buy from others. Not good either. And the rib rack, rather go to the Rod Fai train night market and eat there. A lot more and a lot tastier. Our whole family was dissapointed. won't go again. Oh, and most of the stuff we wanted to buy was not in stock. Not worth it.
The only South African restaurant in Thailand, serving quality South African cuisine with affordable prices, surly a place to come visit when you are in Bangkok.
Highly recommend and great location for authentic South African delights! Boerewors roll is a must try!
