1 word. RON!! He was a great host and tour guide. We took the 8pm food tour and LOVED it. The highlights for us were the night visit to Wat Pho and for us the best dish was Ann's (with one of the limited 20 Michelin awards in Bangkok). Ron went above and beyond sharing so much information in history about each place that we visited as well as places that we drove by in the tuk tuks. He has a great sense of humor and even laid down on the ground at Wat Pho to get amazing photos of my sister and I in front of the first chedi built by King Rama 1 in the 16th century. Book your night tour with Ron. Absolutely worth it.

I booked the Bangkok Food Tour at Night and we were all together a small group of 6 people - always 2 sharing our own Tuk Tuk driver. We went to various places, restaurants, food stalls and saw temples at night, went through the flower marker and just kind of got the feeling of the real Bangkok at night (the best part was being around and talking to so many locals during only a couple of hours). Definitely worth the money - best to be booked on the first or second night in Bangkok.

Ron is a great guide. So many tasty dishes. The rooftop bar was the highlight of the trip for me.

We had a great tour with guides Olive and Marissa. They accommodated a gluten allergy for me that would have made it near impossible to try any of the food on my own, and provided great cultural and culinary insights at each stop. Both are exceptional guides, skilled at handling the logistics and all other details so that all you have to do is show up and go along for the ride. My only drawbacks were the Wat Pho temple stop, where we spent a good bit of time but couldn’t go in to see the reclining Buddha because it closes at 6, and the fact that there were 2-3 groups of other food tours at every stop along the way. Still, well worth the money and time. Highly recommend!

I took this on after enjoying the XO Tours in Ho Chi Minh city. There were 10 of us from all over. Our guide was 'Mod' who was good. She knows her stuff and she was funny and charming although she does go a little over the top at times. Especially when it was late and we wanted to continue to our next destination. But this did not affect all of us as i noticed some of the tourists enjoyed her stories. The more important issue was the tuk-tuk drivers. These were independents, and not employed by the company. Hence they lack the commitment and the touch that Bangkokfoodtours needs to take them to the top. On the return to the hotel, my driver was fast and reckless with his driving and sitting at the back is uncomfortable when it is fast. They should take a leaf from XO tours in Ho Chi Minh city who hire their own riders with strict vetting procedures and all of them are very professional. 21 May 2019 - The food was good so I took the tour a second time around. Our guide was 'Paeng' and she was good. The food was good too. As per my first tour, the tuk2 driver was poor. With the guide around I had no complaints. It was only on trip back as he was reckless. Pointless to go into detail.
