From what I've seen this place is great, although, as the pictures show, I've only really been to the lake, dam and a few viewpoints, all in the rainy season no less. If you are going to the lake you can arrange your tour prior to paying the park fee but ensure that you get a good understanding of what is included as sometimes the difference between the tours in terms of time does not increase the length of the tour but just the time you spend in specific areas. Overall, even in wet season this is worth a visit.

the best please that I'd like to recommend if you'd like to do a social detox. Enjoy the perfectly natural without the internet or any signal. Quietly to let you stay with yourself and listen to your soul. It's worth to spend your time in this place :D

Beautiful, brilliant and breathtaking. What can I say more? It was an absolutely gorgeous sunny day so I decided on the spot to take a day trip to Khaosok National Park by boat. The long-tailed boat goes through the Ratchaprapa Dam, Cheow Larn Lake for 40 minutes. The view was fabulous It was so clear and the sky was so gloriously blue that it was a once in a lifetime experience--- the cost of the boat trip was soon forgotten. A must 'do' if you are in Khaosok area.

Great national park, although there are 2 different prices for foreigners and locals. No need personal guide for the first 3km, pretty easy hike and trek, however if you want to go further which is pass the information spot, you definitely need a guide! It gets deep and dark and confusing almost right away, and there are no cellphone signals, it’s pretty scary for first time goers.
