Beautiful! As natural as it can be for these retired ladies. This IS a sanctuary. ZERO CRUELTY. This place is simply wonderful. The animals just do their own thing. Of course they enjoyed treat time (also vitamin time!) And they come and go as they please...even for washing. No chains, no sticks, no riding, no show. Just elephants as they should be. They do enjoy a fuss, but only when THEY fancy it. Guides and elephant carers were all wonderful and full of knowledge. This place is total paradise for these beautiful creatures. And the money raised goes back into the conservation and saving of the nellies. I'd go back in a heart beat.

In July we had 2 nights/3 days at Elephant Hills. What a wonderful experience this was. Interacting with the elephants, feeding & washing them, learning about them. Also included was a trip to a local market, kayaking & a jungle walk with a traditional meal cooked in the jungle. All other meals were at the camp & i can say there was a huge variety varying from not spicy to spicy... something for everyones tastes. The luxurious tents were comfortable & well set out.

The tents that you stay in are actually much more than what you generally expect when you hear the word tent.. me and my fiancée found the tent beautiful and quite romantic The bed was made daily and when you can walk up to the bar or restaurant in two minutes it’s even worth the walk in the warm rain Although umbrellas are provided if you don’t wish to get wet .. even though the insect life is noisy it’s amazing how much the beautiful sound Lulls you to sleep Also worth going on the daily excursions and the trip to the lake is not to be missed .. We went in September and the weather was rather hot for most of our time there Plus if you get Tony as your guide you are on for one heck of a treat ... he’s the happiest and most bubbliest person I’ve ever met in all my life

SUCH AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Stayed here during our honeymoon across Thailand. They’re *extremely* responsible about ethical care for their elephants, and strive to give them as close to a natural life as lifelong domestic elephants can have. The trainers observably love their elephants so much, it was wonderful to see these beautiful animals in such safe care given that they can’t really live fully wildly. The elephants themselves were unbelievably sweet and gentle, even affectionate, time with them was surreal and connective! The food was really great. Friendly service from all the staff. Our guide Tony was an absolute character and made it as fun and safe an experience as it could have been, we learned a lot from him and really enjoyed his company. The tents were more comfortable to stay in than we anticipated! Had a beautiful jungle hike canoe ride down the river. If you’re looking for an ETHICAL elephant encounter with comfortable amenities this is a wonderful option!

Absolutely superb. Staff are friendly and look after you well. The guide for our state was Kong, she was lovely, very attentive to client needs great guide with a good sense of humour. The activities were very good, we didn't do the trek but were left to bathe around the pool or wander around the camp as we pleased. Towel were provided for the pool, tea and coffee available free as well. The elephant camp was brilliant, they roam around freely, no tricks or riding here! Boat trip and canoe on the lake were great. Food throughout was excellent with good variety available. Night entertainment was varied and we had some local dancers each night along with some films centering on conservation. Would like to have stayed longer but onward journey wouldn't allow. Would highly recommend this to anyone, young or older.

That’s amazing, really interesting and educational. Very friendly staff and nice but big tents! It’s not the best idea to travel in rainy season.

This place will be something to remember. So many amazing memories that will last a lifetime. I want to start by staying this is a very save place for the elephants and they are well kept and cared for here. Our tent was very clean and comfortable. There is no A/C so be warned if you don't like the heat that much! But is a little fan which worked for us. There is a lovely pool to cool off in too! The food selection and taste was amazing. Definitely something for everyone. (even fussy eaters!) A huge and cheep bar selection was also a very good win for us! Our Guide Tony was very lovely and helpful. He was super funny and took great care of is all. All the activities were great fun and time with the elephants was something I will always remember. (no spoilers but your gonna get wet!) I can't recommend this place enough. We only stayed for 2 nights and I wish I did more. Such an amazing time.

Love this place. The staff are all very friendly and the setting is unique. We were served a wonderful selection of very flavoursome food and the glam- tents were extremely comfortable and spacious. It is run very carefully to minimise waste and landfill. All the activities we took part in were well planned and executed. The boot tour with our own guide was great fun but the elephants stole the show of course! It was such a pleasure to get up close to these magnificent creatures, who live a comfortable life in the company of their Mahouts.
