Didn't have the pleasure of staying here but did go for a meal at the beach side restaurant. Quality and taste of food was great and at a very reasonable price. Staff here very good and would encourage me to stay next time I'm in Khao Lak.

A lovely place to stay in Khao lak. Very service-minded staffs. There was only our group at the whole resort when we stayed so it felt like our private resort and beach. The rocky beach in front of the resort was serene and beautiful. We got our rooms upgraded from deluxe to beachfront villa. Real impressive! It was understandble that breakfast was not a buffet because no other guests. However, there were some choices of breakfast from western to Thai styles. Don't hesitate to book this hotel for your holidays and the beachfront villa will be the perfect choice!
We stayed at the Sensimar last year and had nothing to complain at all. The hotel is beautiful and has direct beach access. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the entire hotel area is always clean. The surrounding area of the hotel offers a huge variety of activities, restaurants and shops. I highly recommend taking a walk from the hotel beach up to the Tsunami Museum! I'd always come back for a visit at the Sensimar!
A beautiful hotel located by the beach. It has five fabulous pools and its own beach facilities. There are lots of great amenities, including a spa, games room, and entertainment organised by the courteous hotel staff. Our favourite was the early morning water aerobics. The hotel made a great base from which to explore the stunning surrounding area and go to one of the many tasty local restaurants! Highly recommended.
A great hotel in a good location in Khao Lak. Five lovely pools and access to the beach. Loads of restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Hotel gardens are well kept and the staff are efficient and very friendly.
This is an adults only resort and perfect for totally chilling out. We had a pool room which was lovely with our own patio onto a beautiful shared pool. We went on a package deal which included either lunches or dinner, we chose the dinners and, even though they were buffet, they were different each night, great food and Chef Don created a wonderful menu. The seafood night was tremendous with lobster, several types of fish all cooked differently, prawns crab etc. Manager James was fantastic. He was there directing his amazing staff (Nan, Ning, Bell just to name a few) every session and the Ocean Group should be very proud of this team. We have been to countless resorts and this team is the best. The team at the Spa were great too with lovely massages in a great environment and there was a lovely Beach Bar open all day and into the night which had marvelous views over the beach. There wasn't anything we could fault
Newly rebranded resort. Lots of work done on exteriors and landscaping. Should be nice when they finish.
