The Room’s name is in remembrance of Wichitchai Amornkul who was a student in the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University. He was a voluntary student guard during the demonstration — people uprising against the government at Thammsat University on 6 October 1976, and was killed to dead cruelly. This incident has showed how inhumanity the Thai society was at that time.
