Went to this place because it was Asia's top 50 and Micheline Star, it was easy to get a booking last min and they had so traditional dishes. Ambiance was great but that's all. Be prepared to mask the salty food with loads rice as recommended by the chef (At least that was the feedback we got from the kitchen). It was a disappointing experience even if it does not have any awards.

The real Thai tradition cuisine taste that start from the first dish till the dessert and it’s came with wine. The food are very delicious and presentation itself.

One of the proper Michelin-rated fine dining establishments, Paste Bangkok offers innovative modern Thai cuisine with distinctive 'elegant yet intense' flavours and colourful presentation that captures food connoisseur's attention. I appreciate the use of herbs, leaves, flowers, and unusual ingredients that sets the restaurant apart from competition. We had an 8 course dinner tasting menu and almost all was great. Venue could be a little better as far as interior decor is concerned but Paste is straight unpretentious...as it is all about food quality. It deserves all the accolades. Satisfied and will surely return.

Was highly recommended by an acquaintance we meet at another restaurant. The meal did not disappoint us at all. It was bursting with flavors that complement each other well. My favorite dishes was the watermelon dish, yellow crab curry and the pomelo salad. The service was good and the servers were friendly and smiley. Although it is pricey but i have no complaints with the meal.

Paste is popular for good reason: odd combinations of ingredients that are also delicious. It is not typical Thai food. Starter was salmon roe and watermelon. An odd combination that I would not have ordered if I understood what it was, but it was delicious. Highly recommended. The predominant flavor in all dishes (except hot and sour soup) was sweet. Even the roasted duck was sweet. This is typical of Thai food so I can’t complain but I’m disappointed they used such a cheap gimmick so profusely. Hot and sour soup was different than other versions I’ve had - it had large chunks of roasted fatty pork - and worth getting once, but I would not order it again. There were a few freebies that came with the meal: A sweet bubbly apple juice as soon as I sat down and a small dark chocolate desert that was delicious. Expensive. This 4 course meal for two people cost 6,000 baht. Worth going once.
