I have trained for 1 month on 2 separate occasions at Sitjimam. The first time I went I had never done any Muay Thai at all. Mam and Em take their time to make sure you learn proper technique. The classes where never to full. And plenty of trainer's. I frequently visit Thailand and when ever I'm in the North I go train at Sitjimam. I highly recommend this camp.

This family run gym welcomes all levels in a fantastic countryside setting. Trainers are passionate and there is always a good vibe among the group. Totally worth it for anyone interested in a genuine experience.

I have visited Sitjemam Muay Thai twice and would recommend the camp to anyone. A brilliant facility suitable for advanced fighters and beginners alike - an absolute 'must-visit' if you're looking for an authentic muay thai experience Northern Thailand. Owners Mam & Em and their team are very knowledgable teachers, class sizes are manageable and every student receives a level of individual attention and it feels that the trainers are invested in your improvement. Sitjemam provides good value for money and there is no hard upselling of 'plans' etc (you can pay for very reasonably priced private lessons if you wish). If you're looking to arrange a fight, they will endeavour to find you a suitable opponent - but there is no pressure to do so. There is good fun atmosphere and environment to meet other people. Em & Mam can provide or help you find accommodation, scooters etc and give invaluable insight in to the local area and customs that will help you enjoy your time there. The countryside setting is beautiful and even on hot days has a breeze coming through the facility (also the bananas grown on site are particularly tasty). Only a 10 minute drive with amazing views into the very tourist-friendly town of Pai - known for its walking street, food stalls and nightlife as well as close proximity to local nature spots. Recommended and looking forward to visiting again in the future.

It would have been a higher star if the Italian owner could speak to people properly. By far the rudest and most unhelpful person I’ve met. All the other trainers were great jodef being my favourite. In regards to your response every negative comment you received on your reviews you seem to blame everyone else instead of taking responsibility for your own actions. I always thought military people were respectful and well mannered which he clearly didn’t have either. He never once mentioned about being in the military instead he would share his supposed old gangster stories of him being back in Italy which I think we all thought was a load of rubbish. I came on my own as an individual and was not in any group. In regards to the bike situation you charge 500 baht more than bike company’s in town and all of your bikes are in hurrendous condition. Both bikes you gave me were either leaking, and the bike I had at the very end you said had already been in an accident which you told me laughing. To sum it up, your husband clearly is the big issue here with you business progressing and definitely needs to smile more. But thank you for your time anyway.

Stayed here from the beginning of April, scheduled for one month but training was cancelled after 2 weeks due to coronavirus pandemic. Would not recommend. Biggest problem with this place is the Italian owner, he’s one of the rudest and miserable people I’ve ever met. He started swearing at us and won’t even make eye contact when he’s talking to you. For him alone I would not recommend this place, but fortunately if you do stay here you won’t see him that much as he spends all day inside. Owners only care about your money and charged me for training that I didn’t do and said that the injury I got was my fault. Really disappointed in this experience as i’d researched this place before and read all of these reviews and was the reason I chose this place but honestly what a let down. Positives were that the trainers were cool. If you want high level training this is a decent option but if you’re a beginner and just want to get in shape I would recommend other gyms closer to town that are better equipped, friendlier and cheaper.

I was looking for a Muaythai gym where beginners as well as advanced fighters train together and stumbled across Sitjemam Muay Thai. The reviews of others and their homepage led me to the decision to try it out and I went there for one month. My experience there was throughout positive. The trainers took so much time for every at the pad training that it felt like you're having a private session with them. The entire atmosphere reminds of a big family where everybody helps each other out. The more experienced people took care of the beginners and gave advices for them to get better, there was not a single time you felt embarassed because you couldn't do a technique or anything. I only met one owner (Mam) and she is really a honest, kind person who supports everybody in their own needs. I can really recommend this gym for everybody (beginner, advanced or fighter) who is searching for a Muaythai gym in Northern Thailand. Big thanks for the good time, I really enjoyed it!

Quality muay thai in this family run gym. I followed my trainer when he moved from famous Yokkao Bangkok for teaching and fighting for this camp. Also other good fighters from Bangkok on site. Recommended for anyone who looks for the real thing.
