Only planned to stay 1 night before finding a beach hut. Ended up staying 4. Yeah, it's not on the beach, but it doesn't matter if you're only there in the daytime and you have a scooter or bicycle (like everyone else does here), and it's right in the middle of the island equally close to everything you might want to visit. For an extra 50 baht per night, we figured the air conditioned room was worth the extra, and several of the fan room guests eventually upgraded. The owner was super helpful and went far out of his way for us. I have any criticisms, it's that being on the main road through the island makes it a little noisy out front; also, the communal areas could be laid out a little better to encourage socialising. All in all I'd highly recommend it, especially if you're solo and on a budget.

We had a double room with ac, owners very nice and helpful, the rooms clean and bed very comfy (only a refrigerator would have been nice) Also it is not on the beach, but a 2 min drive takes you there When we come again to koh jum will stay here another time Thank you:)

The place is far from the beach, clean and quiet even tho it's close to the street. 300BHT for one bed it's expensive considering you only get the bed. No coffee, tea or water, nor the atmosphere like other hostels. The owner seems OK although a bit stressed about the towels. You can rent a scooter from them without the hassle of deposit.

Not on the beach but only a 2 minute walk to the longest beach on Koh Jum. Fantastic value for money. We stayed in double room with private bathroom. The room was really big, spotlessly clean with a lively comfortable big bed and air conditioning. The room had a fridge and kettle, mugs etc. so you could make yourself a coffee and keep fruit and drinks cool. The owners were really lovely, so helpful. Free taxi to the port and they arranged ferry for us. There is a small supermarket on site. We hired a scooter from them for 250 bht per day. Highly recommend this hostel, half the price of the beach front bungalows and much better room. Peaceful and quiet. We booked for one night and stayed for 5

Nothing special. Clean but too far from the beach and 300BHT for a bed it's too expensive considering you don't get any water, coffee or snack which is standard in hostels. The owner was stressing about the towels too much and the cleaning lady has a bit of an attitude. Quiet and clean. That's it.

We booked an Ac room, 950 bts . It s really expensive for what is it. Unhappily, we asked the backside for being quiet but we had a room very dark, with a so small window, so noisy because the room was at a corner..so 2 streets in front of us !!! Lot of motorbikes running each way ! And don t forget, there is a boxe stadium 200 m from the hostel with lot of big music !!! In the room, there is nothing...no hangers, no soap, only in shower, no fridge !!! We ask to put out bottles of water in their fridge, they said no ! And cherry on the sunday, for this price , there is just COLD water. The room is clean and new , but having known, we would never have booked

Standard hostel - very clean & the staff are useful at helping to book onwards travel etc. I met a great group of people here but have only given 4 stars as it could do with a more social area - wouldn't have met them unless we were all outgoing / chatty & bumped into each other by chance
