Good for kids
Unheralded. Although there is little remaining I have taken a number if people there because it is a part of history that should be valued. Most of those I have taken have been Thais who were unaware of its existence but really appreciated the visit. I still look forward to my next visit. There are also a number of sites (with much more to see) not that far away) that are worth a visit including Phanom Rung.

There is a nice historical place the architecture seems to be small(miniature) compare to others I can feel that the small set sand stone corridoors are similar to Bapuan temple and the main vimana(3 summits) are settle on the hight bench of laterite (may represents for a haven) Anyway I am very upset that some of the drunken villager stalking on us (they try to make friend but they already drunk) while visiting the temple and begging for money. Please becarefull if you visiting this temple alone, in group would be a better choice.

ปราสาทหนองหงส์ ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านโนนดินแดงเป็นโบราณสถานขนาดเล็ก ประกอบด้วย ปรางค์ 3 องค์ ซึ่งก่อด้วยอิฐ ตั้งอยู่บนฐานศิลาแลงต่อเนื่องเป็นฐานเดียว หันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออก มีประตูเข้า – ออกด้านหน้า ส่วนประตูอีก 3 ด้าน เป็นประตูหลอก ปรางค์ทั้งสาม มีผังเป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัสย่อมุมไม้สิบสอง ปรางค์องค์กลางมีขนาดใหญ่กว่าสององค์ แต่เดิมมีทับหลังประดับจำหลักลายสวยงาม กล่าวคือ ทับหลังที่ปรางค์องค์ทิศเหนือสลักเป็นรูปพระนารายณ์ทรงครุฑเหนือหน้ากาล มือยึดท่อนพวงมาลัย แวดล้อมด้วยลายพันธุ์พฤกษา ทับหลังปรางค์องค์กลางสลักเป็นรูปพระอินทร์ทรงช้างเอราวัณ ทับหลังปรางค์องค์ทิศใต้เป็นรูปพระอิศวรทรงโค ศึกษาอายุสมัยของปราสาทหนองหงส์ ดูจากลักษณะการก่อสร้างและศิลปกรรมที่พบ ตรงกับศิลปะเขมรแบบ บาปวน มีอายุราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 16
ปราสาทหนองหงส์ เป็นโบราณสถานเล็ก อยู่ไม่ไกลเมือง คนยังไปเที่ยวไม่เยอะ อายุประมาณ 800-900 ปี หากใครผ่านไปแถวๆอำเภอโนนดินแดง ลองแวะเที่ยวดูค่ะ Prasart Nong Hong is a historical site in a distric in Buriram, called Nondindaeng district. Very small one but still leaves some Thai historical scene. Recommended for people who love this kind of historical sites.
