I am Hector from Taiwan, taking the 2/1 2/10 ,2019 Bareboat skipper course. Sailquest best instructor Joe patiently leads me to familiarize the skills and knowledge of driving a sailboat. I have a lot of gains in just 10 days. Thank you very much. Sailquest offers such a great and practical course. The only regret is I didn't bring back Sailquests special and beautiful T shirt as my best gift for this special experience. Hector

Look no further if you wish to learn to sail and become either a competent crew member or as a bareboat skipper. The SailQuest team combine their skills into a course which delivers a fun, hands on and educational 10 days (or 5 if you do the crew only part). The instructors teach you how to competently and safely sail a yacht. They focus on the important elements which you need to know and are likely to encounter out on the sea. Lots of hands on sailing time combined with humor and a fair helping of 'old sea dog stories'....I had an amazing 10 days, thank you guys.

Years ago I belonged to a sailing club out of Ventura Harbor in California. Sailed quite a bit mostly O’day 28, Irwin 34 and Morgan 46. I also sailed from Italy some. I thought I knew something. But it had been awhile a I thought a refresher and picking up some local knowledge would be a good idea since I purchased a Beneteau Oceanus 34 berthed at Ocean Marina just down from two of the school’s boats. Wow!!! I’m so glad that I did. In 10 days this course taught me much more than I ever new. Stuff that is really critical for safe sailing. At the age of 71 it did tired me out at the end of the 10 days. Tim, Joe and Howard did a great job of making it fun and making it easy to cram all that important knowledge into my head. And sailing different boats and both mono hull and catamaran was great too. This is truly a great choice for a sailing school. Thank you so much guys. Paul

Very personalised teaching. Small groups which means you get full value for your money. And the learning is fun and you end up with a diploma and a group of new friends!
