We took the Sukhothai Historical Park bicycle tour with Ronnie and Khun Mem. Had an amazing experience. Very friendly and hosts. They took us around the place explaining each bit of the rich history with such pride and passion. The bikes are of top quality and the services very hospitable and fulfilling. A must try for whoever is travelling to Sukhothai. Special mention of our tour assiatnt Khun Rawd...kids simply loved Uncle Rawd's amusing company.
We did the country side cycling tour and the historical park cycling tour. The country side tour was interesting. We saw a mushroom farm, a morning market, a cricket farm, whiskey distillery and lots of rice fields. Our guide was a local farmer and was great. The half day is sufficient for this tour. The historical park cycling tour was very interesting. The guide / owner explained a lot about the temples and history about Thailand and Buddhism. Definitely worth it. If you are only in sukhothai for one day, this is the tour for you!
Day countryside tour I booked a full day tour, and turned out to be the only one. Still they did the tour. And i had a great day, cycling (on a good bike) through rural life of Sukhothai. So many ricefields, so green... I had a great day with Paul. Thnx!!
