We came during early Jan - a bit crowded but the weather is excellent. It’s very picturesque during sunset as birds are flying everywhere. Camera shot practice anyone? You’ll have a good time buying local food/drinks from vendors and stride around. Definitely worth a visit.

Good for wintering Shore Birds from faraway place like Siberia! Birds watching govern good during winter months Nov to Feb each year. Surprisingly GOOD restiveness with friendly price at the end of the Pier. Serving local see food. This place is a recreational center for the the Army but you can get in easily.
The first feeling that I got was a lot of people even during COVID. There are a lot of seagulls. You can feed them. The view is very good. I went in the sunset time , it is very attractive. There is also a restaurant for us to sit and eat. There is a lot of parking. When driving in, there will be an officer to check all our temperatures. But I think if there were fewer people it wouldn't be very uncomfortable.
best time is between 4PM to 6PM... else bring your umbrella and sun protection...
Thousand of seagulls are coming back to Bang phu every year but it my second time enjoy seeing them fly over my head and get their food from people. It is an amazing experience. Highly recommend to come one hour before the dawn.
