The padholders and the trainers are amazing, so kind and devoted in their work. You can do the exact same training as the champions in the camp : the afternoon session start with a 20min run followed by 20min of skipping rope, then 4 or 5 padwork 6min rounds !! You can then do some bag work clinching, to finish up with physical conditioning. All in a superb atmosphere and a great mood brought by the trainers and the fighters their (Panpayak, Kiewpayak, Neuglanlek, Phetnarin etc...) I highly recommend JitMuengNon gym if you are looking for a unique experience in BKK. Special thanks to the gym mom who was absolutely nice and caring.
This Muay Thai boxing camp has been successful in turning many fighters into national, as well as international level famous. Almost of them are from upcountry at their very young age by devoting themselves in Muay Thai. Boarding and meals are provided, plus schooling with to and from the camp transportation. They are even given pocket money for their lunch! What's nice is that boxers who win the fight will be awarded with pay in full. However, those who lost, will get 50% deduction towards the camp. That sum would turn into fund supporting the camp. Regardless of the owner being a businessman, his involvement in Muay Thai is a non profit sideline as he is a great fan of Muay Thai.
