Nice trip and exciting experience to ride elephants. The organisation is good but the price a bit high. But it's worth an excursion.
This elephant safari is located about hslf an hour out of Aonang Beach Town. Elephant Rides are available fir 30minute sessions around the surrounding jungle, 500THB (Adults) and 300THB (Child). Your children can enjoy feeding the elephants with bananas purchased in house at 50THB. Two adultams and two young children per elephant.
Elephant ride was ok...Kids enjoyed it..Elephant show was only with 1 baby elephant
Absolutely terrible. Horrible treatment to the elephants. This place should be shut down. I do not know what people are talking about when they say they had a good experience. The elephants are in shackles and rusty chains. There was a baby elephant chained up to a pillar with only about 5 feet of leash. Upon walking through the woods, we saw a full grown monkey tried to a tree. It was the most horrific sight. The men working at the elephant farm were laughing at it and having the elephant throw stick at it. Terrible place. Do not go here.
Nice way to spend a time near Krabi. Around 40min walk through the forest on the elephant back. Two people plus a "driver". Photo alway done costs 150 baht and may be a nice souvenir. Besides there is a chance to play with a baby 3 years old elephant.
A 30 minutes drive from Ao Nang area..dont miss the bathing activity with the majestic creature. Try it overall really satisfied
