Wualai Records Shop helped me acquire the records I needed for my Science class to build their own Phonograph. He gave me a great price for what I needed and he was very nice and accommodating.
Wualai Records Shop is one of the most visited place in Chiang Mai if you are into Vinyls and Turntables. The owner of the shop is super friendly and he replies you everything you need to know on facebook page. The shop contains mostly 2nd hand vinyls (both International and Thai's). There's a few CDs within the shop. Wualai Records also sell Tote Bag as souvenirs as well (for 150 Baht). Be sure to stop by, music lovers.
Great record store, although 75% records are english records (mostly from pre rock-n-roll era, nothing special) but apart from that they have a great collection of Thai records, both LPs and EPs. They also have Japanese and Chinese records. I was lucky enough to find a used copy for Aphex Twin's Syro which was almost brand new!
I asked staff to recommend me some music and he was helpful. Could listen to music freely on the turntable. Most of vinyls are pop, oldies but can find and try some Thailand music too. Maybe the best record shop in Chiang mai.
