It's easy to get lost in the large plant market, but really you should go to THIS specific plant store, Suan Dang Jinda. The owner, Ling, is a master herbalist at what is the best herb garden in Chiang Mai. Ling also is well-versed in medicinal herbs and plants and is perfect English speaking and also in Thai too. A plant nursery in Chiang Mai isn't hard to find, but finding one that sells organic house plants or organic garden plants in CM is tough. Natural herbs and seedlings are nice and cheap and great priced here. Khamtieng Market features other shops in its Chiang Mai plant market, but really this one is the best. JJ markets is closeby and this shop is right behind Tesco lotus on the super highway. I definitely recommend this shop for the location, price, quality, and knowledge from the staff. You can also buy garden supplies. And buy plants here too. House plants, cooking herbs, outdoor plants, fruit trees, plant seeds, plant supplies, soil, planters, pots, or patio plants are all over the place.
