I was looking for a good dentist nearer to my hotel on Moonmuang soi 7 and thought I'd check them out by getting my teeth cleaned. They said that the cost would be between 1200 baht and 1400 baht. What I DIDN'T tell them was that I'd just had my teeth cleaned at another dentist, two weeks earlier. My teeth were very clean, and the LDC dentist had to spend very little time on them. Imagine my surprise when they charged me the top price of 1400 baht! It should be noted that the other clinic Dental4U on Thaphae Road, had to work much harder to clean my teeth as it had been a full year...they really did a great job and the cost was just 800 baht. I felt as though LDC really took advantage of me as a "new" patient, and it was ridiculous that they charged so much for what was probably one of the quickest cleaning jobs they've ever done. I'd have expected them to comment that my teeth were quite clean, and only charge me the low price in their scale (1200 baht would still have been high, IMO, but as that was their normal lowest price for cleaning I'd have accepted it). I paid the 1400 baht without complaining, but I will definitely not be back to this facility. It's very nice, clean and modern, and I'm sure they do good work. But because of this experience, I have no trust in their honesty. I will continue to keep Dental4U as my dentist of choice in CM.

Fantastic dental experience, from beginning to end! Why don't dentists I the US have massage chairs while you're waiting? Everybody spoke English as well if that's a concern. I'll be back!
